Thero.org Launches Mental Health Job Board
Non-profit to help providers and therapists connect through online job search.
Orcas, WA, January 1, 2020 – For the past 10 years Thero.org has been laser focused on building the first free and comprehensive mental health resource directory. We’re proud of the work we’ve done and are excited to announce something that will help sustain our efforts to make finding mental health resources easy- The Thero Mental Health Job Board.
It’s a new job board that helps mental health professionals across the U.S. find work or be found. Mental health jobs are on the rise and there is a lack of online career resources for mental health professionals. This new resource will allow Thero’s members to not only connect people to therapists but therapist to jobs.
Helping therapists find the right job is yet another way we’re helping support therapists. Burnout is a huge problem in our field. Providers often stay at the same job for years and have a hard time finding one that fits the lifestyle they want. Now Thero isn’t just helping connect therapists to referrals, we’re also helping therapists to find jobs.
The new resource which can be found online at thero.org/jobs allows mental health providers to posts jobs and therapists to search for work, setup email job alerts and add themselves to the resource directory. The site is free to use for all job seekers.
The job board’s intuitive administrative panel allows for easy posting and review of applications from a single dashboard. The site is also mobile friendly which provides the best possible candidate experience on all devices. New users must register as a provider or therapist in order to apply or post jobs. Job searching can be done without logging in.
