Executive Advisors are experts in their respective fields. Each Advisor volunteers their knowledge to guide Thero’s mission and strategic planning.  The committee meets twice a year to guide the direction and goals of Thero.

Melvaleen received her M.B.A from Columbia University and is Director, Innovation & Pipeline for Johnson & Johnson. She volunteers her expertise in marketing and business management to advise the Thero Executive Staff.

Benjamin Patriquin

Benjamin is Vice President & Creative Director of Canale Communications, where he oversees strategic decisions to visual communications projects. He donates his expertise in design and messaging by advising the Thero Executive Team.

Kim Brickley

Kim Brickley

B.A.

Kim is a parent advocate. She has been a credentialed teacher for students with autism and has successfully raised a son who was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. She uses her expertise to guide the Thero Executive Team.

Amy Hecht

PhD, Licensed Psychologist

Amy has a private practice specializing in Adoption and Immigration Issues. She is co-founder of the Professional Ethical Adoption Competency, LLC and donates her expertise in mental health policy to guide the Thero Executive Team.

Andrej Ciho

Andrej Ciho

Andrej is Chief Technology Officer at Dark Square Designs and is the Founding Director of a nonprofit youth development program, South Atlanta Bike Shop. He uses his knowledge of design and project management to integrate the public Thero Directory with the private Provider Community.

Shamus Patry

Shamus Patry

Shamus is a V&V Engineer at Philips. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering, is pursuing a masters in Data Science and has over 15 years working in the tech field. He volunteers his skills to the Thero Tech Lab by building features on Thero.org and developing the search algorithms.

Richard Tandoh

Richard Tandoh

Richard is a Portfolio Associate for the Global Innovation Fund and creator of the Star100 Network. He received his Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Cambridge in London.  He volunteers his expertise in technology and online networks to advise the Thero Executive Team.
