Overview
Organization Description:The Men’s Association for Addiction Treatment (MAAT) was founded in 2009 by a group of professionals seeking to create a community where men involved in addiction treatment could find support and learn from one another. Members of MAAT are dedicated to the prevention and treatment of addiction.
Our mission is to lead, unify, and empower treatment professionals to achieve excellence. We accomplish this through education, advocacy, knowledge, ethics, professional development, and research.
Monthly MAAT meetings feature notable guest speakers and offer ample networking opportunities. They provide a great opportunity to learn more about the field, give and receive professional support from other addiction professionals, announce your service programs, and network with leaders in your field.
Membership dues are $75 annually, or $10 to attend a meeting. First time attendees may attend their first meeting for free. To become a member, simply attend your first meeting, or Contact Us for more information.
Monthly MAAT meetings are open to male colleagues and guests who are engaged in, or who are seeking information about, the treatment of addiction.
We look forward to welcoming you to network with your male colleagues!
