Overview
Organization Description:Catholic Community Services Skagit & San Juan Counties started out in the Brenner Building on College Way in 1975, and has continued to grow and expand over the last 45 years. They are a multi-service agency with programs for youth, immigrants, older adults, and people experiencing homelessness. They provide individualized, needs-driven, strength-based services across all of their programs. This philosophy shapes and affirms their partnership with the individuals, families and communities that they serve. Their mission is to serve the men, women and children who come to them for assistance with compassion and understanding while supporting and promoting self-sufficiency.
They believe every child should grow up in a safe, loving, nurturing environment; in joining with others to change systems which oppress, discriminate or otherwise cause human suffering; and to work towards affirming and supporting a healthy family life.
