Medical and PharmacyIntake Process:
You can always walk in or call during office hours to ask about setting up a first appointment.
If you have Medicaid:
If you are 13 or older, come to the Port Angeles office on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 8AM to 2PM for a same-day Intake Appointment (available on a first-come, first-served basis).
What is an Intake Appointment? You will meet with an Intake Clinician who will listen to your concerns and ask questions about symptoms and experiences. The two of you will collaboratively determine your needs and discuss available resources. This appointment generally lasts 1 ½ hours. The Intake Clinician will schedule your first appointment for services that are well suited to your unique situation.
If you have private insurance:
Call (360) 457-0431 or come in to our Port Angeles Main Clinic during regular business hours. When staff are available in our Access Department, they will help you immediately. In the event staff is not available, you will be asked to leave your phone number. A staff member will get back to you by the end of the following business day.
PBH will help you determine if your insurance provider covers the behavioral health services that you are seeking as well as the amount of deductibles and/or co-payments that you would be responsible for. Finally, we can see if you qualify for financial assistance, funded through our private donations, Hargrove and United Way grants, and/or a sliding fee scale.
If you have no insurance:
Call (360) 457-0431 or come into our Port Angeles Main Clinic during regular business hours. When staff are available in our Access Department, they will help you immediately. In the event staff is not available, you will be asked to leave your phone number. A staff member will get back to you by the end of the following business day.
Peninsula Behavioral Health will do whatever we can to provide services to you. We will conduct a financial review to see if you qualify for financial assistance, funded through our private donations, Hargrove and United Way grants, and/or a sliding fee scale.
