Clinic & Center Description:Bright Heart Health can connect you to expert mental health and substance abuse professionals via video therapy on your phone, computer or tablet. They provide psychiatry, individual therapy, group therapy and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders. They have specialists in eating disorders, addiciton and chronic pain. They have partnered with Standford School Medicine’s Clinical Assistant Professor, Athena Robinson, PhD to conduct studies on the effectiveness of their eating disorder program. They accept most insurances including Medicaid, Anthem, Molina, United Healthcare, Magellan Health, Cigna, Blue Cross BlueShield and Amerigroup.
If clients decide to pay privately the rates are $75 for psychiatric sessions, $60 for individual therapy and $50 for groups.
MENTAL HEALTH AND TELEPSYCHIATRY
Depending on the patient’s needs, physicians, therapists, mental health counselors, dietitians, case managers, and wellness coaches work with patients on their treatment goals. Clients can meet for weekly sessions with an individual therapist and a psychiatrist. Patient’s presenting with co-morbidities may work specialized providers to address trauma, pain, substance use disorder, or other issues. They also have a post-hospitalization program that helps people for 7 to 12 days following a hospitalization to for follow-up care.SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER PEER SUPPORT GROUP
The Substance Use Disorder Support Group for adults is free and meets every Wednesday 12pm – 2pm (PST). It includes support, educational tools & encouragement developed by Bright Heart staff used to help hundreds of clients. The group focuses on the unique characteristics of addiction, including recovery, stigma, relapse prevention, and more. Support Groups are private and registration is required. Support groups are not therapy and are for the purposes of peer support.EATING DISORDER PEER SUPPORT GROUP
This Group is open to adults and adolescents age 15 and up. It meets every Saturday 7 -8:30pm and includes support, educational tools & encouragement developed by Bright Heart staff used to help hundreds of clients recover from their eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, compulsive overeating and night eating syndrome. Support groups are not therapy and are for the purpose of eating disorder support.Intake Process:Call 800-892-2695 or schedule through the contact page on their website and schedule an intake meeting.
