LWC’s purpose is to provide residential care, community outpatient mental health programs, and treatment in a psycho-social rehabilitation model for chronically mentally ill adults to facilitate their achieving and maintaining an optimal level of independence, health, and fulfillment.
Our 67-bed, 24 hour a day supervised living program specializes in clients who wish to transition into the community as well as those who require long-term care.
Lake Whatcom Center’s case management program offers individualized support for people with chronic mental illness to reach treatment outcomes.
Lake Whatcom Center operates 6 apartment complexes providing safe and affordable housing in the community. All apartments are completely furnished.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Intensive Outpatient Program is a home and community-based treatment program. Team members work together to provide intensive, coordinated and integrated treatment.

All referrals and applications will be reviewed by qualified assessors to ensure optimal treatment placement to address individual needs
Submit a completed substance use evaluation by a Chemical Dependency Professional indicating ASAM Level of Care recommended
Have a mental health diagnosis along with indicated substance use disorder
