• About Me

I am a highly respected licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received my Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California and has been practicing in the fields of addiction, trauma, death/dying and grief for over thirty years.

I combine my experience in trauma/grief and blend it with my knowledge of substance abuse to provide the clients with a comprehensive treatment plan for the recovery of the whole person. I have always recognized that addressing the underlying core psychological issues is essential to achieving successful long-term recovery. The development of programs for trauma patients struggling with significant life changes has been an important focus.

    Extended Biography :

I am the Founder, President and Executive Director of Inner Awareness Programs, Inc., which has been in existence for twenty-five years. I have acted as an expert Psychological Consultant/Evaluator for Alternative Sentencing Programs in the State of California. I am presently the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Business & Finance, as well as a key clinician at inneractions, LLC- an Intensive Outpatient Program in Woodland Hills, CA. The development of programs for trauma patients struggling with significant life changes has been an important focus. I have worked in this field of healing for over thirty years, beginning with the Visiting Nurses Association in Hospice programs, where I educated clinicians on understanding the process of grief and how to incorporate this knowledge of life transition to the treatment of addiction. I frequently collaborate with the physicians of professional sports teams providing athletes and their families with therapeutic assistance through traumatic transitions.
