Marcela Rondani is a trilingual Doctor in Psychology, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Marcela founded and owns Orenda Clinical Services a Transitional and Coaching company for teens and parents. Marcela also is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and serves as the Director of Eating Disorder Services at Visions AdoIescent Treatment Center. She specializes in working with eating disorders, mental health, trauma, and family dynamic issues.
With more than thirteen years of experience in the intensive mental health field, Marcela has been working with adolescents and families in treatment centers setting as a clinical director, and clinical supervisor; she has been part of the board of IAEDP (International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals) since 2014.
Marcela has extensive training in psychodynamic, DBT and she was trained by Pia Mellody in the Post Induction Therapy Model. Also, Marcela has worked at the Brazilian Embassy assessing and helping the Brazilian community in Los Angeles.
Marcela has a passion for educating parents and families in teen mental health and eating disorders and she has led in numerous talks and workshops in a diversity of the school, universities, magazines, and TV.

Marcela is passionate and dedicated to work in the mental health field with adolescents and families and always has their best interest in mind. Marcela has been working with adolescents for more than a decade in a variety of settings: community mental health, inpatient facility, rape crisis center, eating disorder treatment center, residential mental health facility, and private practice.
She has specialization and training in treating severely mentally ill population, parenting difficulties, general relationship struggles, survivors of sexual abuse, borderline personality disorder, mood disorder, eating disorder clients; as well as a vast experience in working with family systems issues. Based on her background Marcela takes into consideration the multicultural aspect of each client and their families, with curiosity, respect, and integrity.
Marcela has extensive training in Psychodynamic, also in Post Induction Therapy and trained in this model by its founder Pia Mellody, as well as training in DBT skills by the the Linehan Institute. She has had the pleasure of working with the Brazilian Embassy in Los Angeles for nearly two years, running groups, presentations and helping clients with mental health issues.
