• About Me

I am a licensed psychologist with 10+ years of experience. I have two specialties. The first is that I work a lot with trauma, complex PTSD, and dissociation. I have found that EMDR is my preferred approach to these issues. And I use a person-centered, strength based approach. I also am an ally who is passionate about working with transgender and non-binary individuals. Whether it’s exploring gender identity, getting support for the medical side of transitioning, or working through other things, I strive to be a resource.

    Extended Biography :

I am a licensed psychologist with 10+ years of experience. Most of this experience has been working with adults with multiple mental health struggles such as PTSD, Gender Dysphoria, Bipolar, Dissociative Identity Disorder, Schizophrenia and addictions. Over the years I have found a passion and talent for working with complex and developmental trauma in women and have found that training in EMDR therapy has been integral to my work.

In recent years I have begun working with transgender and gender non-conforming clients. I have been so honored to be a part of their journey and healing and have learned a lot from them. As an ally, this has spurred me to seek additional training and certification as a Transgender Care Therapist so that I can be a better resource and advocate.

I am a psychology nerd at heart and love learning and growing. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my knowledge and skills. I appreciate feedback from my clients and seek to foster an environment where we can both be real with each other. I believe in being an expert collaborator with you in the driver’s seat.

I am an animal lover in general and a dog lover in particular. Although I do not currently have a therapy dog, I do intend to integrate one into my practice in the future. In the meantime, you can check out pictures of my three non-therapy dogs: Willis, Chewie, and Lucy.

You have taken the first step by checking out this website. I encourage you to take the next step and call me. I look forward to speaking with you and coming up with a plan to help you to let go the pain of the past, live more fully in the present and start developing hope for the future.

    Role In Relation to Clients/Patients:

I take a person-centered, strength based approach to my work. I see my role as an expert collaborator. It is important that I create a safe space for people to be as honest with me as I plan to be with them, and I regularly request fee on how the process is going.
