As an industrial-organizational psychology consultant, Dr. Lazar has served as a Feedback Coach for the Center for Creative Leadership since 1997. He has helped managers and executives increase their effectiveness through “360 degree” feedback both on site as well as telephonically. Through assessment and coaching sessions, Dr. Lazar helps supervisors leverage their own and their direct reports' strengths to create more successful organizations. He has specific skills for working with individuals and groups to detect and reduce burnout before it becomes problematic.
Dr. Lazar has made numerous presentations to professionals and the public, has taught at the college level, and has been called upon many times to give expert commentary on newsworthy subjects by local television and radio stations. Dr. Lazar is crrently the President of the San Diego Psychological Association, has taken a leadership position in the California Psychological Association and is a member of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Lazar has private practice offices in La Jolla, Point Loma and Chula Vista, California.Role In Relation to Clients/Patients:
