• About Me

I completed my Masters in Counseling Psychology with a Specialization in Latino Counseling at Cal Lutheran University. After earning my masters degree I worked with those needing assistance in anger management, victims of intimate partner violence and also worked with children as a school based counselor. During this processes I became certified as a Domestic Violence Facilitator for court-ordered group therapy and also completed training in Emotional Freedom Technique as a Level II Practitioner.

    Role In Relation to Clients/Patients:

Helping those suffering from anxiety, chronic pain and chronic illness live their lives despite their symptoms is how I strive to give back and offer support to others. As a therapist with chronic pain and illness this is both a personal and professional mission. Mindfulness, emotional freedom technique and other approaches, helped provide symptom relief from my own chronic pain and illness so it is my hope to offer the same support and resources to clients so that they can manage what causes them the most distress.
