My goal as a therapist is to help my clients get through the barriers that they are experiencing in their lives so that they can feel well again; this includes in work/ school life, social life and romantic relationships. My area of expertise is treating traumatic experiences such as abuse, neglect, or exposure to one time traumatic events such as car accidents or natural disasters. I also help those who may be suffering from depression, anxiety or just feeling stuck. I do this through using a variety of modalities including Art Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and other modalities.
I have over 7 years of experience working with children ages 2-17. I have successfully been able to help parents and families overcome challenges such as defiant behaviors with little ones and helping parents maneuver through crises with their teens including substance use, or other high risk behaviors.
